Brow lift (Forehead Lift)
In some patients, excess skin of the upper eyelids is accompanied by droopy eyebrows. Although upper eyelid blepharoplasty makes a significant difference for most patients, a brow lift may be helpful in achieving ideal results. Dr. Ebroon performs this procedure through five tiny incisions that are hidden behind the hairline. A small camera or endoscope is then used while the brow and forehead are lifted to their natural youthful position. If done together with a blepharoplasty the results can be impressive because the entire upper face has been rejuvinated. In effect, the patient has benefited from an upper face lift. An endoscopic brow lift adds about one and a half hours of surgery time for the typical patient.
